Please join your neighbors as a Friend for Life of Coronado students. Coronado's public schools are highly ranked in comparison to both San Diego County schools as well as across the state of California. Yet our per-pupil classroom resources continue to decline, and this trend is anticipated to continue with Sacramento's 2008 budget forecasts.

By maintaining our community's public schools at private-education caliber, we continue to graduate students who are prepared to compete nationally as well as globally. Quality schools provide the core for a healthy, vibrant community that is a great place to live, work and recreate.

For 26 years, Coronado Schools Foundation has provided an excellent vehicle to support academic success in the classroom. Thanks to the recent partnership forged with parent teacher groups at each school site, the Foundation is supporting the greatest academic needs as identified in site strategic plans, and parent teacher groups are providing direct classroom support.
