Every donation matters. Every donation makes a difference. From major gifts to smaller donations, your generosity every donation benefits the teachers and students in Coronado's public schools. Coronado is blessed to have excellent schools, in many ways on par with the academic offerings and excellence offered in private schools throughout the County, and the support of the parent and greater community through financial donations and volunteer time truly make a difference.
Partners in Education or PIE: Parents with students in Coronado’s public schools are asked to participate in the “Partners in Education” Program by "taking their piece of the pie” by pledging a designated amount for each child enrolled. The current suggested PIE donation is $200/child. Private schools in San Diego cost $10,000 to $20,000/child/year so a $200 donation/child is a real deal. With ongoing public funding budget cuts, supplemental funding is necessary to maintain cutting edge programs.
Friends for Life: As a result of the need for increased supplemental program funding , more and more families and community members are opting to become a “Friend for Life” by stepping up to pledge $5,000 over a five year period. This is in addition to other donations and during the five-year period you are an active Friend for Life, you will be invited to a special annual event and behind the scenes tours to see CSF funding at work. Tribute and Memorial Gifts: Please use the form below to make a tribute donation in honor of a special person (teacher or administrator, retired teacher, etc.) or a memorial gift. If you provide a mailing address for either gift, we will notify the individual or his/her family of the gift. Thank you for caring enough to make a difference.
Telethon Pledge: Make a donation in advance of the March event and we’ll include your donation in the tally for the event and read your name live on stage from the Coronado High Theatre!
