This event started 20 years ago on the sidewalk in front of Time Warner Cable on Orange Avenue in Coronado and raised a few thousand dollars. The four-hour variety show featuring Coronado’s public school children and teachers moved into Village Hall and in 2006 raised over $118,000 for Coronado’s public schools.

The 2008 event took place in the new Coronado High School (CHS) Theatre and brought in record donations (over $155,000) and record numbers of new donors. The new venue was a success in that the bigger stage allowed for bigger class acts and the Quad outside was a gathering place for students, families and community members.
