On behalf of Board Chair Renee Cavanaugh, our thanks to the guests who joined us at the second annual Change-maker Event on February 15th. Hosted by Blue Bridge Hospitality at Maretalia and underwritten by Alan Kinzel, Realtor, Douglas Elliman, the focus was on the impact of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) pathways within Coronado Unified.

Michael and Cauleen Glass were honored for their significant financial support and Mayor Richard Bailey presented Mike with a coveted City of Coronado Coin. Coronado High Senior Padraig MacGabann spoke passionately regarding the opportunities afforded to him thanks to the CSF-supported engineering program under the direction of Teacher Patricia Samora. Ron and Betsy Vernetti donation will again allow the All Schools Musical to take place in June with rehearsals beginning soon.  Over $40,000 was raised in support of STEAM pathways.
