Culminating a year of fundraising events and campaigns, Coronado Schools Foundation is pleased to advise over $800,000 will again be returned to our four local public schools. We invite you to join in Tuesday, May 30th, 5 pm, in the Coronado Unified School District Board Room to hear site administrators present their STEAM-inspired grant proposals. Equitably distributed, the grants range from Coronado High with the highest enrollment receiving $256,000 to Silver Strand Elementary with a grant of $107,000. These grants now primarily fund teachers' salaries/program equipment in classes like engineering, science labs K-5, Technology Resource Teachers, KCMS broadcast, band and choir and much more. These photos feature Coronado Middle School’s Village Pizzeria Party and Silver Strand’s Mootime Creamery Party, as these schools enjoyed the highest participation at the March Telethon. Thank you Blue Bridge Hospitality!
